Silver Ain’t So Bad

I was working yesternight at the Mandarin Oriental.
It wasn’t tiring at all.
And it was more fun than i expected.

By chance, Tracey and Janet were working too, yAY!
A familiar face is always good

The make-up artist made me wear falsies which poked at my eye consistently.

It was some dinner function for a steel company.
Their speeches were so boring i spaced out as easy as hell.
Paula Malai Ali was the emcee and the perfomances were bearable.
Bellefire  performed as well. Actually i’ve never known them before this so pls don’t think i’m a girlband follower!

We had to serve drinks *wine, whiskey, brandy* to tables assigned to each of us.
I saw that i got a table with Jap men and thought to myself
aiyO highlight! confirm drink alot…

At one point, a jap man gestured urgently to me.
I thought he wanted a drink.
“i wan a hamberger”
*creased forehead* “i’m sorry sir. we don’t serve hamburgers.”
“i wan mcdonald’s”
*raised eyebrow*tries to fake-smile* “er haha. no we don’t serve that either.”
He then turns to his friends and they start laughing.
“i’m kidding! it’s a joke!”
He turns to them again and continues laughing.

Must be a japanese thing….

All in all it was cool.
Cos we were provided dinner and supper and drinks *cough*…
And what better way to perk up a fairy’s mood but with food and alcohol ey.
