Recharge Revelation @ PD
So many peeps were excited about the Salem Recharge Revelation Rave weeks before it…
Four of us were supposed to go down together
Everyone was supposed to meet at my house at 3 pm to leave for Port Dickson
Everyone followed Malaysian timing – half an hour late or more
Including Mr. I’m-Brit-Yo-Adam
My cameras were charged
The extra batteries packed
My malibu in my HP water bottle for disguise (plus it’s plain lighter then the glass bottle)
So i took pictures of myself for fun
Damn layan right

So *now* you three know what i was doing while waiting!
Finally at 5 pm

AdamPeterPan arrived first, he’s usually the punctual one
I can’t stand it sometimes cos i’m always running helter-skelter late
But i think it’s good cos he keeps me grounded and on time 
Oh btw, i’m thinking of just calling him AdamPoserPan
It struck me cos… really la… i’m quite the poser…
But confirm he beats me flat on my fairy face
I called HotJason
“Where are you?”

At the beginning of the highway, i peered into the distance to see a fantastic jam building up rapidly
Confirmed something *just* happened
It was a horrible horrible accident involving three cars
Since we were going so slowly anyWAY, i took a quick shot
But when i saw some people pulling an injured guy to the side of the road…
Then i stopped with an ‘urk’
We didn’t plan to stay the night cos it was not that far a drive back and Adam’d have rather slept at home
So we crashed in some friends’ rooms for awhile
I tried taking a short catnap
Suddenly heard the boys blasting Tiesto’sTraffic from next door
I couldn’t tahan cos that song reminds me of happy dancing times with Gobi and Co. at Zoukout
It’s even my ringtone for my Wonderboys (as opposed to Wondersluts)
And bounded in to layan and feng and feed ConHan some Malibu
I walked faster then the others cos i needed to get to the mainstage by 11 pm to take pictures of ’something that will happen’ according to LinusTheFrog
The rave didn’t have a VIP or media line
Damn irritating *acts like brat*
I FINALLY got through and… lost everyone i was with
Bumped into PassedOutBen, Ivan, Kelynn and Sam
And POB temaned me around to take pictures
…. then poor him lost all the friends he came with too!

Yup
Fucking crowded
Still, fucking crowded = awesome for a rave
But it was damn dark as well, making it damn diff to find people
PLUS it’s supposed to be a beach rave… but there were clumps of grass and thorns all around
Yes, there was sand
But there was also all that shit around so i had to keep on looking at the ground so i wouldn’t trip and fall flat on my flowerhorn forehead
So many people were saying they couldn’t find/see me that night
Well
I’m short
So unless i’s wearing Rita’s devil horns like i did in Zoukfest
I doubt you would’ve spotted me easily
I got annoyed and tired fighting through the crowd like Xena Warrior Raver
Remember muttering to myself
“Salem events suck ASS. Dunhill all the way baby..”
I know some peeps dress differently to make themselves stand out from others…
But a cloth face mask? That’s just cheap man.
Saw alot of heads turn to a particular area
Where there were two girls in bikinis dancing away on the scaffolding
I found them quite horrendous actually
But took pictures anyway
PassedOutBen and i finally bumped into MaryBerry
Who was as tipsy as a boat
Bumped into LinusTheFrog again who was there for work as well
PassedOutBen kept on reminding me of what a pest i was cos he had to follow me around to make sure noone kidnapped little me
But he was as happy as a pony and shut up after he met Johan Gielen
There was a shuffling stage

I was so so so so glaD to finally be able to SIT DOWN after walking around for hours
I practically hugged the metal chair and people were staring at me
FaiTheMai spotted us, thank god and told us where the monkey was
As Ash says, everytime Fai and i take a picture…
…we just cannot behave and take a proper one
Maybe i didn’t drink enough… but takkan
Cos even if i’m not crazy tipsy, i would still usually enjoy a rave
(except the Kent one in Bukit Tinggi)
At one point, i was so bored
I leaned on AshleyTheMonkey’s shoulder and fell asleep
Stupid buggers took a picture and the flash woke me up

Then the fireworks came on
By that time i just wanted to go home
Or eat
Or bathe
Or whatever!!!!!
I *so* didn’t enjoy myself that night…
I’m sure alot of people did but i guess having to carry a load of carrots after work prevented me from running around and dancing
The rave i enjoyed the UTTER MOST was DEFINITELY Zoukout

AdamPeterPan and I went for the press screening of Red Eye a week back
It was so-so, a tad draggy in the middle
But much better then The Stupid Cave
I went for a Japanese lunch with EditorIan and PrincessAnna after that
Just as my food came, I got a call from the boyfriend
“Hey, could you come outside a second?”
So I popped outside and he handed me this huge box in a Toys R’ Us plastic bag
“Ohmygod. What’s this?” I exclaimed
It was a pony
A huge big giant My Little Pony!!!
That laughs and giggles
And yawns and burps
And sighs (though I have to admit it sounds like a decadent moan)
It’s aMAZING!!! *eyes glint crazily*
I told LaughingLoga what Adam gave me and he was like,
“What was he thinking?! It’s like giving a whistle to a 2-year-old!”
*Bwek*
I’ve had so much fun with it so far!
The other night I took it downstairs to bug Daddy with it
“Good gosh, where did you get that? Giantland???” he stared at it disbelievingly
“Adam gave it to me!”
Then we both were trying to figure out how the pony makes the yawning
sound when we’ve already put it down to sleep
Daddy patted its legs, its body, its head but we couldn’t get it
In the end he strangled my pony by the neck and shook it
I was like, “HeY!!!” cos just combed its hair nicely all¡K”
Then I brought the pony to the dining table where Mommy was marking test papers
But she super tak layan wei¡K
She didn’t even LOOK UP!

In the end she did, asked where I got it and went ‘hmm’
