I went to Velvet with PrincessAnna last night to drink to Razlan for his birthday
Then i dragged her up to TwilightActionGirl for awhile
Franz Ferdinand was playing and i was bouncing off the walls with joy
Then we went back down to get her friend
And when we went back up and entered…
What the fuck.
The music wasn’t happy alternative punk rock whatever
It was hard trance.

SueThePixie and DreamerCyn were next to me too
Cyn was trying to make me drink more Long Island Tea

If i wanted to listen to the same ol’ common hard trance/prog house, i could have gone to Zouk or anywhere else
The reason your faithful crowd and i still go to The Loft is to get our dosage of the Kaiser Chiefs, Pulp, The Killers, Franz and what have you.

Uh… when was then? I only started coming in March 2005 and they always had the electro/trance(?) bit towards 1-2am or so. For maybe two weeks I saw camp and over-fashionably goth (not that there’s anything wrong with them being there, I’ve never seen them there before) then they disappeared.
I brought a Spinal Tap CD once during the earlier loungy bit, then they were in the electro/trance bit, and I asked when they were gonna play it. Gimme Some Money played and people left the floor.
