Piggy Kuih

PrincessAnna was admiring her newly-bought kuih during lunchtime in the office
It’s one of those chinese kuihs that are soft, brown and are sold during Lantern Festival y’know?

 She had bought a little piggy one.

 

“So cute! It’s so cute to eat!” she’d exclaim before munching delicately on its bum

Then she’d continue looking at the (poor) piggy looking back at her before continuing to bite it

“Isn’t it just so cute?” she asked me

I turned to her and looked down at the mutilated piggy kuih lying on death’s bed in the palm of her hand

 

No doubt, it was a nicely made kuih and looked really adorable

“Be careful… you are what you eat.” I said smugly before hearing an audible gasp of horror

 

ehee hee!

 

Like someone said

“Once on your lips, straight to your hips!”

 

Overheard at launch in Starhill where some Hongkey celebs were showing up:
“Yeah lar… those has-beens are coming.”
