My phlegm is really killing me.
I experienced a totally musical night yesterday.
When i say totally, i *mean* totally.
Melbourne Grammer School Orchestra, Zainal Abidin, Operafest, TwilightActionGirl, Deep Dish.
I adore classical music and was hanging on to as many notes as i could during the symphony orchestra.
Then.
I felt a cough coming… The panic!
Trying to keep it down, i only suceeded for 5 seconds before letting go a massive hack.
Oh my god.
To cough loudly during a symphony while i’m seated RIGHT in the middle of the ballroom, FOUR rows from the front?!
ACK!!!
I got up quietly and exited the ballroom as fast as i could, trying not to cough anymore and choking myself to near death in the process.
The moment i stepped out, i coughed like a motherfucker till i gagged.
Seriously.
I don’t remember having a cough this bad in my entire life.
Entering the washroom, i ducked into a cubicle to blow my nose and rid myself of the blasted phlegm.
Let’s just say that i blew so loud, i heard a little group of Operafest kids going, “EWWWW!!!” outside

I’ll come outside and press my phlegm on your face THEN you see what’s ‘EW’!!
GAHHhHHHH!!!
Then i went to cover the Deep Dish event later that night.
Sitting at the Terrace Bar with KinkyPugKevin, i told him i’s gonna blow my nose.
“Blow la.” said he, “I always blow also. Don’t care only.”
So i blew.
He grimaced at me. “Actually… quite loud la. Yuk”
I’m working till late every night, the only way i get to see my best friends are to plead with them to go to some of the events i’m covering
I so need to:
- send out Christmas cards to UK
- start shopping for the few gifts i’m getting this year
- make cards for everyone else who’s not getting a gift

Headache… wanna sleep.

I know how you feel. I have had many bad coughs and I know how it hurts your throat like mad and how you can’t get rid of the phlegm.
