Well look at it this way. Proper inflection and suitable pauses in sentences can mean very different things. It’s the difference between ‘I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse’ as opposed to ‘ I helped my uncle jack off a horse’.

Oohh.. this reminds me of that big boo-boo Lim Kok Wing did. Apparently, a tribute to DP Seri Endon Mahmood (our current PM's belated wife).

LICT poster had this typo mistake... "A tribute to Datin Paduke Seri Endom Mahmood" large and the smaller italic words saying, "an extraordinary women with a passion for the arts".

The irony is that the fella who pointed it out also b!tched about a 'rouge' hair at her forehead (see pix at site given above). Hmm... Rouge hair... guess he must be playing way too much Dungeons & Dragons.

Adoi. I scored 3 A’s in SPM & speak tonnes of English, do some editing here & there, etc..but I still cant tell the difference between ‘lend’ or ‘borrow’~!

jctang, you’re right after all. Btw, that was from Cambridge Advanced Learnerss. Did a check on Oxford Advanced Learner’s and it ain’t there. I think I figured out better what “US NOT STANDARD” meant. =)
