New Nike Air Max

I popped by BukitBintang for the Nike Air Max launch last Monday night
PassedOutBen was supposed to go but he didn’t go in the end

What?!

The shoe freak doesn’t go for the shoe launch??!!

It’s like me not going for a fairy festival…
or giving up a trip to the Malibu factory…

Lim aka DJ Bunga was emceeing and introducing the shoes while Ean and i dawdled around
Suddenly i found them banging Ean bout wearing Timberlands to the launch
And then their eyes rested on *my* feet…

uh-oh…

“OH MY GOD. Is that…. Adidas!?”

I swear they held me down and lifted up my pant leg to show the shoe off more.
And started making an absolute racket.

“You’re wearing ADIDAS

TO A NIKE LAUNCH!?”

“Hello!!! Security!!!

She’s wearing Adidas!!!”

Three of them started jumping around and pointing like crazy monkeys at my feet as i tried in sputtering laughter to make them stop.

Some drinks and beers later, i got introduced to Amanda.
The topic of shoes somehow came up and she saw my Adidas Tokyo Superstars

“Oh, so *you’re* the one…”
“Waddaya mean i’m the one.” i squeaked

Apparently she works for Nike.

Coincidentally, i went for an the launch of the new Adidas store @ Berjaya Times Square (it’s on the LG floor) just now

Spent as much time as possible with AshleyTheMonkey last night, before she flies back to NYC tomorrow morn

My eyes and nose hurt terribly last night (i’m blaming dust -_- ) so i wore my ChickenLittle glasses while hanging out at night
