The only time i went out was to walk my dog and buy lunch (which was fish head curry)

Everytime i walk into a mamak, my eyes wander to the fish curry even though i know i won’t buy any cos i just ate
When i’m doing my work, i think about fish curry
The deliciously thick spicy gravy oozing all over the steaming rice, extra gravy please
I was craving fish curry all weekend
Dah lah, i had it thrice last week, twice in one day even
I intentionally ate alot of it before i changed my braces rubbers
Because of my love for fish curry, they always stain a putrid yellow, causing people to believe they’re the cause of smoking and drinking too much
Well it’s not
It’s the curry
I thought about curry again when i woke up today

So using it as some sort of incentive i got up and walked just to buy fish head curry
Thank God there was one more fish head left
I would have thrown a silent fit if there was none to behold
I don’t care if my braces turn yellow even though i just had them changed last week
Greed overturns vanity when it comes to me and my curry
I eat fish head curry everywhere
In backlane stalls (the yummiest and the cheapest!), at Nirwana’s in Bangsar, at Monsoon Masala at Hartamas, at Panndi’s (QueenKanch brought me)
Hooray for Malaysia and

Today is Wednesday and i’m eating fish curry again for lunch -_-
I SWEAR i was going to buy something else, like fried chicken, i felt like having fried chicken today
But then the robust Indian auntie automatically asked me, “Mau kari ikan yeah?” and before i could stop myself, my hand stretched out to pass her the styrofoam box where she ladled heaps and heaps of glorious gravy and a nice big piece of fish

On a non-curry note, i tried this weird looking sweet at Paandi’s
They looked like tiny white pebbles and the people there are so SuperNiceCanDie that the lady at the counter gave me a handful to try (for free! Who the heck gives out things for free nowadays?!)
They were little spices covered with mint
QueenKanch knows what it is and refused to eat any
I, on the other hand, have no qualms about trying strange food and popped the lot into my mouth
When the mint shells melted away…
We both agreed that i fancy Indian food more then she does.

You should try having fish curry, cooked with a fish caught by yourself… fresh fresh fish. Brough to your table with the gravy still bubbling in the claypot.
Oh Gawd!!!! Can almost orgasm when you first place the fish, curry gravy and rice into your mouth.Especially after a hard day’s fishing under the sun.
Then wash them all down with ice cold beer.
Can die (dot com) I tell you!!!!

Oh yeah, I think those are fennel seeds. The have a lil bowl at most Indian restaurant counters for ppl to take after eating. Freshens the breath and helps digestion or something like that. First time I’ve heard of em covered in mint coating tho
