People are always questioning me on the purity of my race
And i always answer the same old thing - “Yes. I’m pure Chinese. Yes. I’ve heard before i look mixed. No. I’m very sure i’m not.”
It took the cake when someone from Dumbass Corp. called on a Saturday
I was snoozing in past noon today when Daddy came in with his hp held out to me
“Wha..?”
“It’s for you. Some woman called Wendy.”
Now why would someone call me on *his* phone?
That just sounded way dodgy
But i took the phone from him
“Hello?”
“Hi…”
“Yes. -_- Hi. Who’s this?”
“Erm, hi…”
“YES. Who’s this?!” *bloody hate stupid things disturbing my slumber*
“Is this Joyce?”
“YES *seethes* Who’s this please?!”
“This is Wendy…”
“Uh-huh…” *patience super running out at idiocy can die*
“… are you Chinese?”

I fumbled for the ‘off’ button and pressed it vehemently
“Who was that?” asked Daddy
“Could. Not. Have been anything important cos she asked me stupid questions,” i mumbled, going back to sleep
First of all, just sounded weird that someone who’s trying to reach me is calling my father
Secondly, I would never give my father’s number out for myself
Stupid, idiot… woke me up for fucks.. *curses*

Being a pest is nice, ‘cos then when you’re not around, everyone will miss you

I crept up on Mummy dyeing her hair with henna, the old-school way
The dyeing i mean, not the creeping up
She shrieked at me, “Stop taking pictures la!”
“What… just taking for fun…”
“STOP taking pictures! Got nothing else better to do issit!”
“Got. Got work to do,” i clicked before scampering off
It’s Not Intentional!
Some people are accusing me of leaving them hanging on the phone longer to hear my caller ringtone
I’m not!
“Did you purposely take longer to pick up so you could let me enjoy your song?” QueenKanch interrogated sarcastically
“No la idiot, i was hunting for it in my bag!”
At least some others appreciate it
Amani was returning my call as i was to ask her some interview questions over the phone
The first thing she chirped out was, “I love that song!”
“Me too! That’s why its my ringtone!”
