Laundry Has Competition

Went to check out the new bar and restaurant directly above Laundry with ButtercupSharon
Called The Sanctuary

Very different from Laundry, which is probably the whole idea
Balinese-themed with a contemporary touch

I had some glass noodles in the restaurant section
RM8 for a platter so massive, i had to bungkus the rest home

The service was great!
Waiters and waitresses so smiley, i had to grin back
Beer was quick to come, so was the food

MET 10

Went for the Met 10 (Malaysian English Top Ten) Awards last Sunday night @ Ruums
It’s the second year running for this event

I’m much much too lazy to edit all the pictures

I managed to get sucked into planning AlcoJason’s birthday bash
So convenient for him - just sit his ass in London, then fly home to his party

He gave me his budget and a few preferred particulars
So i have yet to pick the place and call his friends up

Then i also got sucked into cooking one dish for 30 people for another party

Kanch Shortens My Life Span

I had just woken up, and still pei from lack of sleep and food
QueenKanch was lecturing me on what eye creams and moisturizers to get
“You should just get La Mer.”
“I don’t want to splurge 600 bucks on a cream okay.”

She stated that i should treat it like an investment

I had an epiphany on the shocking things QueenKanch spurts to AshleyTheMonkey and i
Its increase in shock factor subsequently decreases our life span
So everytime she says something damn tak kena or insane, i just start slumping all over the place as if i’m about to pass out and die

Back to the damn creams,
Somehow, the brands and prices she was recommending me went higher and higher

By the time she mentioned some cream that cost a whopping 1,200 bucks, i don’t remember the brand because i was too busy screaming
