Girlfriend A pats her tummy while saying, “Oh, i’m two months pregnant!”
My mouth drops as she glows
“Really?”
“Yes… 0_o… why would i bluff you…”
“>_<  No… it’s just that… i just saw you the other day and now you’re pregnant! But you’re not married..!”
“We’re signing the papers soon.”
“Oh wow… *gathers back manners* congratulations!”

Saturday
I attend Girlfriend B’s wedding dinner
Child status: Nil

Sunday
I promised i’d follow Girlfriend C check out her dress for her wedding that’s coming up
“Guess what?”
“What.”
“I’m pregnant!!!”
“…. 0_o … *big eyes* Seriously?”
“Yes! I’m two months pregnant!”
“Ohmygod! When?! HOW?! (okay. so ‘how’ is such a stupid question. forgive me i was being kancheong.) But… you’re not married yet!”

Okay, fine, she’s going to get married la
But there seems to be a trend going on that women are getting pregnant before getting married here…
She agreed, “Oh totally,” before naming me four people off the top of her head who’s done that in the past half year

I, on the other hand, am noT falling into this whole pregnant/marriage thing
I’m NOT
It’s not like the ‘Bags ‘n Shoes’ thing
No no no no no

After viewing the dresses, we all went for lunch
“Oh, i need to go to Guardian,” she thought out loud
“Oh. Me too, to get stuff that will avoid  me getting pregnant!!!”

You know when i’ll stop complaining?
When one of you name your daughters after me
Then i’ll stop okay.

C’mon… think of the charisma surrounding the name ‘Joyce’
‘Fairy’ would be even BETTER.
