I feel more gungho to take on work after coming back from Langkawi

StephTheVolcano and i basking like cats on our last day there
Majority of the rest were still passed out
Even tho it was called OpsTerLang, i didn’t terbabas, surprisingly 

Below is Sammy next to us. He was reading Scar Tissue (Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ biography) and i eyed it in interest. When he went jet-skiing, i picked up the book lying on the beach towel, settled myself comfortably under the shade of a coconut tree, and opened it to find…

… that it was all in German.

      

I almost missed my flight. >_<
So standard of me i swear.

First, i overslept, woke up in a panicked flurry telling my brother, “OHMYGOD, okay get ready! We’re leaving for the airport in 15 minutes!”
Threw everything into my bag like a mad woman, rushed outside, and jumped into the car.

Second, he took the wrong turning.  0_o
We ended up in Klang  0_o
“Ohmygod… you’re killing me i swear… i thought you knew the way! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Surprisingly i didn’t get mad at him. It was an honest mistake and i had this thought that if i missed my flight, then it was meant to be and that some force didn’t want me to go  :p

So there we were, frantically calling my Dad to ask for directions, which is a bit tough cos we don’t know* Klang area, how to turn and where and what?!?!!?

SO kancheong, almost had a heart attack.

Then, it started to rain, so we couldn’t speed  -_-
So fuckalingam okay.
I was whining in agony about the flight while my brother looked like this >
Obviously he didn’t care la cos not like he was going on it kan!!

I didn’t think we could make it.
My flight was to leave at 8:05pm
And we were still in the vicinity of Klang at 7 pm
I’m supposed to check in an hour before the flight
I don’t know why we didn’t just give up but i couldn’t!

I reached over to adjust something in the car. And. My dress strap broke.

“AUghhh!!! Damn drama! Late la! Wrong turning la! Rain la! And now my dress strap broke!!!!” i bawled

My brother grinned at me.

“Maybe it’s a SIGN. That i *shouldn’t* go to Langkawi. That something BAD might happen…” i babbled in the midst of my panic

We finally reached and i ran to the counter
It was 7:40pm
My flight was at 8:05pm
I told the supervisor that i didn’t want to check anything in, cos i had a small bag and that was IT.
He made a call, put the phone down and said, “You’re very lucky,” and checked me in!

Actually, he said i was very lucky cos the flight got lagi delayed till 8:35pm

But i can’t complain cos if they didn’t delay it, i wouldn’t have made it there on the first night

I arrived all tired to find everyone crazy tipsy partying already
There were 25 of us altogether, i don’t think i got shots of everyone even
I’m just gonna put up a few happy ones

 

Besides the partying, we had so much fun on the first day!
We blew bubbles. We played make-believe in the water. Rudy and Cammy bought these awesome water toys! - swords, two floating beds, one giant ball, a crocodile, a killer whale and a water torpedo! The guys flew kites. The girls played frisbee (unsuccessfully cos of the strong wind). We wore party hats to the pool and were such a colourful happy sight then people staying there took pictures of us.

None of us were very helpful with blowing up the awesome toys tho.
It was really difficult and in the end, StephTheVolcano blew most of them single-handedly.

We lepaked at the balcony while she continued blowing the toys.

“Wow. Your woman can reallllly blow man,” i winked at BracesBrian
“Your woman has a lot of hot air,” said RowdyRudy

There was this cool floating jetty made of blue plastic.
Kinda reminded me of lego.
The sea would run underneath it, making it wave too!
We hopped and jumped to the end.
Tired out, we sat there till it started to rain.
