Experimental Bukan Nekkid La

TomHayton  expressed how he wanted to shoot portraits of roughly ten random people in KL to form a series for an exhibition

When i told CherubicCho Tom was going to do some experimental shots, Cho went, “That means you’re posing nude!”

Not nude la idiot.
See.

Tom’s concept is to talk to the person till they forget they’re actually in a shoot, so they end up smiling naturally or, as exemplified in the picture above, i was deep in thought about CNN (or was it CNBC?) reporting that FB is reputedly worth over 8 mil USD now.

Actually no la. I was thinking about lunch.

I’m Being So Distracted

from cleaning my room and doing whatever else i’m supposed to be doing.
I seem to be in a funny mood.
Turned down a few parties and ffk-ed PugKevin for Armin tonight cos i just feel lazy/tired/stormy weather making me cosy/want to psych myself further to sort out room

I sent Kevin a picture of my room to let him see.
He replied with “People like you make me think my room is perfect” (or something like that) and ended with ‘Thank you.’

A Place, My Place(?)

As i sift through the mountains of press releases, CDs, clothes, bags, presents that i love, presents that i’ll never use, free gifts from events, more clothes, accessories, even more clothes, art stuff, books, cards, wire, paints; the thought of getting a place to call my own was being pondered on even more then ever before.

Buying an apartment is something that most of my friends in their late 20s are doing, so it isn’t something that i feel pressured to do. Plus since moving back home early this year, i love seeing my family and dog for even a little while a day. There’s less petty fighting. More communication. Deeper understanding. More tolerance.

Some friends complain that they want to move out asap because their parents keep on asking them to come home early and they can’t bring people home.
Well i don’t have that problem because my parents don’t babysit and breath over my shoulder, and i don’t bring people home.

The grown up part of me went around asking close friends like LaughingLoga who’ve just acquired new property how much was down payment, monthly installments, etc.

Then over dinner with the girls this week, we all discussed we’d try to obtain a place of our own by next year (reasonable right? i think it’s a reasonable time line goal…), whether we’d rent it out and maybe we’ll rent out everything and all stay in one and have a bachelorette pad.

This will be hard… have to take less holidays and shop much less.
Think of the return in investment, Joyce! Think about it!

Sigh.

The hippie part of me is wishing i could just move around the world and work as i go along.
