I got ClaudiaOnCrack a package of happy colourful things for her birthday
- pipe cleaners, glitter, pattern punchers, 3D stickers

She got so excited she started googling up videos on how to make animals from pipe cleaners
And made a dinosaur, a duck and a flower

Then she found some glue to play with her glitter…

I also got her stickers to be given one at a time when she does a good piece of work
So i got all the stuff she likes – Miley Cyrus la, Hannah Montana, Zac Efron, Disney princesses, animals, etc.

Behind my desk are strips of corkboard where (i assume) Adrian expects us to hang up things to do with work
I don’t know, lookbooks, images and things that inspire us

Instead, i have caricatures of myself

And a flower ClaudiaOnCrack made for me from pipe cleaners

I’m sorry, i can’t help but look behind me sometimes and think i’m in a kindergarten!

New stuff @ Baci + Visiting Oh-Small-One

Samantha told me that new stuff had arrived in Baci, so i went to pick some out!

I wore the grey top to go see SmallSerena at her apartment

She’s moved in for a year already and after so much procrastination
(okay, i’m so unfamiliar with the area also!)
Finally went to see it

It’s SO her – minimalist and classy

If it were my apartment, it would be colourful and cosy with heaps of toys and books around!

Milo was kinda stoned cos he’s on drugs for being sick.

But my favourite thing in her apartment (minus the walk-in wardrobe)
are the Philippe Starck chairs i love so much!

Love love love to the point i even blogged about visiting + hugging them in public early 2008

It has started to dawn on me, that i’m no longer 20

Yeah it took awhile
When i turned 21, 22, 23, 24 – i still felt like 20
Soddof

Now that i’m 26,
people ask me how old i am,
and i still accidentally answer ’25′ sometimes
cos i forget i’m already 26

And it has recently dawned on me that i’m reaching my late 20s
when friends start talking about marriage and kids
I mean, i *have* friends who are already married. And have kids.
But these are my close friends whom i know of to be on the same page in Life as me.

This week alone, i’ve had:

- One girlfriend telling me her boyfriend is talking about marriage
“WHAT!?!?!” i clamped my hand over my mouth to stop from screaming at a bar
“Yeah shhhhh”
“Whattttttt” i repeated myself, still in shock.

- Another friend telling me he wants to have kids.
“WHAT?!?!?!” Again. I have to stop myself from screaming.
“Yeah. I’m serious. I can see myself having kids soon.”
“Give me a second. I have to shut my mouth. It’s still hanging open.”
“I’ve reached a stage in my life where i’m done with the partying.”
“I know, me too. But that doesn’t mean i want to have kids!!”
“Well, obviously i have to find a girlfriend first.”
“Hahaha!”

Sigh, do we all really have to grow up so fast?

I also seem to see this trend amongst my male friends,
that they realise they want to have children and settle down,
and *then* they start looking for that person to settle down with.

So the whole ‘taxi light’ theory is probably true.
It’s all a matter of timing and looking for that person with the same timing and tick as you.

WHY am i writing about this now i don’t know.

I’m just procrastinating some work which i’m hating to do right now!

We had almost 100 plain black phone pouches we were giving away for free at the Fashion DIY corner
with red Swarovski crystals you could decorate it with

The one above is Wei Wei‘s handiwork. I had no patience time to play with it.

Each of the 8 Samsung bloggers we picked styled a mannequin according to the theme of red and black.
Hui Wen‘s was my favourite cos she slipped a tutu over a swimming suit.
