Monki, the Swedish sister brand to H&M, opened its first store in KL yesterday!
It’s on the ground floor in a new mall called Nu Sentral (across KL Sentral station) and holds heaps of pieces filled with patterns and colours. Very me.
I’m familiar with Monki cos i bought some things from their store when i was in Stockholm. (Come to think of it, i never even blogged about Stockholm properly -_-)
Drinks from Cocktail Solutions
With Eleanor, the brand manager for Monki who flew in from Sweden just for the event

Thanks to Monki for inviting me to choose an outfit to wear at your launch!

Amanda from Milk PR, with Lexie and Josh who provided food and drink from Cocktail Solutions and NAKED restaurant.
There were a LOT more people i didn’t take pictures with… it was so hard balancing between holding a drink, keeping an eye out for pieces to shop cos we got a 20% discount at the launch, holding OTHER things i already intended to buy, my camera

The event was to kick off a global launch of Le Méridien’s partnership with Nouvelle Vague to curate a 24-hour soundtrack which will be played across all Le Méridien hotels around the world.
The evening also saw the launch of Le Méridien’s Sparkling Aperitif programme – hence, all the “Sparkling” beverages that were being served.
It was quite amazing to see them up close, cos they’re likeee super femes!
Patty, Sher and Clouds. I don’t know what kinda three-way hug this is…

For some drunk reason, we were hanging out in the hotel bathroom cos it was quite… comfy!
Definitely the Time-to-go-home Face.
I caught a taxi back at 2:30am and boiled some peas to eat with melted butter as a snack.
Am suffering today.
