Brazilian shoe brand, Melissa, known for their ultra comfy and eco-friendly (not to mention bubblegum scented) jelly shoes has just launched the Star Walker Fall/Winter 2015 collection inspired by all things galactic. The avant garde designs feature collaborations with renowned designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Jason Wu, J. Maskrey, Vivienne Westwood and of course, Brazil’s very own Alexandre Herchcovitch. This collection boasts edgy designs without taking away comfort.
The collection embraces a wide spectrum of colours, from military green to neon pink to the classic black, white and earthy tones. Staying true to the galactic theme, the shoes come in a mixture of materials and shapes with intricate metallic details. But enough describing, let’s show you some pictures of the collection. No more icky wet insoles or socks which we have all experienced, especially during the rainy season. And if you get to wear cute shoes even when it’s raining, I say go for it.
