DailyDress… Last Week.

I soddof lost semangat (or memory) to take pics this week.
Not exactly top of my priority list.
Two outfits from last week.

Okay, be prepared. First of all, i really don’t like this picture.
I don’t think the angle (and my stupid pose) gave the top justice.
And don’t ask me why i was doing that salute thing.

Was feeling bodoh at the time.
Priya was watching us from the coffee table, declaring in disdain, “I can’t believe you’re posing like a sailor. That’s so gay!”

I was hobbling pathetically first time i wore them.
Quite sad, really.
They gave me corns on my toes which rubbed raw, so i had to limp to the pharmacy to buy those corn pads that i always see but never needed before.
Bummed

As you can tell from some of the first pictures, i’m not good at posing.
I can pose for a shoot when people are helping and giving directions… but other than that, i really suck.
Ask SarChan.
I just sorta stand there and flap my arms around.
(Oh but i can pose good when i’m high tho ha ha!)

Take this one for example.
I attempted to hide my face and end up looking like a headless person holding a wig.

I got this powder blue ruffled chiffon top from the DNP sale (yeah. you’re not going to hear the end of this for weeks!) for RM10, i think.
It had a tiny hole on the side. Which i pinned together with a gold horse brooch.
Navin thought it was some brand he never heard of.

Instead of the chiffon top taking the attention, two people asked me where i got my white slip from.

It was RM18 from Bangkok.
And all the designer boys are going to Bkk this week.

Frangi on Thursdays.

I was quite lazy to dress yesterday so i merely chucked on my staple black leggings, long tube and hoodie.
Then ended up plonking on colourful accessories so it turned out decent in the end.

Priya, J. Ku, and i headed to Frangi to try out some cocktails that were to be prepared by some mixologists specially brought in.
Also, LaughingLoga asked me to go and i never turn down seeing one my most favourite people in the world! *flings arms out happily*

Turned out i’ve met the mixologists before, and there was Ace (who still hasn’t told me where he works!) who was layaning us like crazy and bringing us crazy delicious cocktail after cocktail.

Saw a slew of people coming in red from the OK party on AHR.
“It was horrible and sucked. All these freeloaders just surrounded the bar!” said Ratna.
“Yeah… i saw the invite on Facebook and it looked like no invite was needed… that’s why i thought erh lazy la.”

The cocktails were really delish.
I had some cucumber martini with lychee and apple rum.
And another served in a martini glass with honey at the bottom which you tasted with a straw before sipping at the drink.
And a spicy one with chilli in it that burnt your lips after licking them with your tongue.
And oh, so many i can’t remember anymore!

Was really budak baik, tasted most of them but didn’t finish them all, and left promptly at 2am to sleep for work.

I is angel now. Laughing

We’re throwing it down!!!

RowdyRudy’s birthday is early April, and mine’s in mid-April.
One day, or more probably, night, we excitedly blabbered that we should have a joint birthday party since we know most of the same people anyway!

We just locked down our venue two days ago and now we’ve got to really meet up and sort out who we’ll invite (cos it’ll be small, er we hope, shebang), deco, dj, etc. We already have our theme, it’s gonna be crazy kiddy carnival whacky with clown and magician cos we never want to grow up! Think bali-mika times!

I had a quick lunch meeting with oh rowdy one to plan our birthdays a bit, and 20 minutes is NOT enough time.
We started forming categories - hitz and mix ppl, band ppl, family, media friends, fashion friends, old raver kaki friends.

“We have to really cut the list down y’know, and oh, there she goes writing another category..!” he declared in exasperation as i scrawled into my notebook.

Anyway, we figure we can’t accommodate/layan so many at one time… so we’re going to have an all day party.
15 hours, i think. WHACK!

And Navin… man, he’s so in demand that booking him for a meeting is tough shit!
The moment we sat down to discuss something, his appointment would arrive and he’d run off leaving me all, “goddammit 0_-”
Was listening to a lot of The Bird and The Bee to be less kancheong/flighty.

What i wore today. I look stunted cos Irman took it from a high angle (ya la i’m short) and i almost started crying cos the sun was shining right into my eye.
