Just wanted to say that to you all celebrating this week

1 year ago, i spent my first day of my summer hols in London going to the British Museum, the opera, and The Ivy.
Wish i could go this year… but i need to work. Sad. Am planning next year for SURE. Want to try Stockholm and Berlin!
2 years ago, i went for Harper BAZAAR’s Fashion in Focus.
3 years ago, i decided to buy my own new car.
4 years ago, i went to Perhentian.
5 years ago, i sure was a bouncy tipsy fairy. Now i drink 3 pints and have a hangover -_-

I wish the island had no reception.

Absence caused by spending 3 blissful days on Pulau Rawa.

Unfortunately i was bombarded by calls from so many different people regarding work.
Hence the title.
I got 1 call every 2 hours…

Felt like throwing my phone into the sea
or more realistically, ignoring it.
I used to be the one telling people ‘Jeez, you’re on holiday! Switch it off!’

And now i’m one of those who just cannot switch the damn phone off.
Or ignore it.
Cos the conscience would bite in my thoughts in the midst of my merrymaking.

Hence, the title.

Hmm maybe next time, it would be WISE to choose a holiday destination with no reception…

A simple sparkle

I usually get my pedicures done in bright colours (fuchsia, bright orange) or glazed whites (sorta makes it look healthier!).
Recently, i had some time, or rather, MADE some time to get my nails done cos i’ve been way too busy to care for them.
Decided to get a sparkly purple that’s almost delicate in shade.
And i’ve been constantly admiring them ever since.
I even got Clem to admire them by shoving my tootsies into his line of view while watching TV.

I even got so far as to accidentally get people to look down on it as well.
Was at an event and during a part which was rather boring,
i peeped down at my toes to admire them *layan diri*
The people next to me started looking down as well, which threw me off.
“What are you looking at? My shoes?”
“… No… i was erm admiring my sparkly purple nail polish :p”

And now, i got you all to read about it too.

The Hill Restaurant & Bistro @ Damansara Heights KL

After an event on Friday night, Clem and i headed to The Hill – a new al fresco bar up the road from Aliyaa and Jarrod & Rawlins – because everyone we knew seemed to be there and we wanted to drink more before heading home!

The bar’s first night in operation had everyone who turned up being common friends, providing lots of running around and endless tipsy chatter.  My favourite.

I was walking to House + Co. to meet MadcapperSa and TunkuNadia for late lunch on Sat,
when i bumped into someone who said he’s been hearing muchos about Steph and how he wants to meet the living legend.
Phwoar. I never knew Steph was known as a living legend 
It must be her ability to pull expressions from rock to pout, and sew felt animals while hungover.

I want more Fridays like the last please,
where we forget what time it is,
don’t want to go home,
chat till we get sore throats,
and wake up the next morning tweeting about how hungover we all are but how it was a damn good night anyway.

Too busy running around in day sightseeing, checking out bars,
and then resting for 30 mins at night before going out till wee hours or morn.

All i can say is… Copenhagen has the best dance music scene in all the cities i’ve been to.
Love the music they play everywhere here!
