Hey Joyce…. ur dad is right… better get a doc to give you some anti biotic or cream cos corals cuts can be sometimes very infectious cos the corals have a layer of mucus over it and it can be hard to heal…
ESPECIALLY IF YOU PICK AT IT!! … hehehe
All my diving cuts also leave a scar cos of the mucus…
On a lighter note though…you wont die from it.. hehehe ;P

Washing it in saline solution may help. My ugly puss filled thingys left horrid infidel marks on my leg. Get well soon!
