The Chicken Shit Way
I was so knackered from the day’s work that i took a nap at 10pm
Ready to energize myself for later
In the process, i had the most violent and disturbing nightmare that i can remember in a long time…
It ended with a snake writhing out of someone’s body which was even more freaky
That was when i woke up, eyes a-snap open
Looking at the time on my hp, it was 11:33 pm
Usually when i wake up from a normal nightmare, i’d just stone for a while and wash my face
This time round, i got up and walked straight out of the room without even switching on the lights
I just had to get out of there
What did i eat? I didn’t eat anything… Did i watch something violent recently… No. How the heck could i have thought of something up like that by myself!?
I even wondered whether there was some foreign object in my room that could have caused it
Just felt so uncomfortable and the whole satanic snake thing was plaguing my mind
But i’m (supposedly) an adult and cannot possibly go running to mommy and daddy when i have nightmares, can i?
So i did it the chicken shit way
And ran to the boyfriend’s place

Poor, poor fairy… nightmares are the worst. Mostly I just freeze and hide under the covers when I get a bad one.

Well..the nightmare may not be all that negative. In some culture, dreaming of snakes may mean something good.
