Our Thai Dinosaur

Comments (12) La la la

So besides Wilson and Sally (our dying plant),
Clem brought home a dinosaur from Thailand,
plying it with stories of swimming pools and air con luxury.

He surprised me by placing it in the bathroom shower,
so he (the dinosaur) looked like he was enjoying his first bathroom experience.

While talking on the sofa with my head on Clem’s chest,
i asked, “What should we name him?!”

At that point of time, these thoughts were running through my head:
i think we should name him Philip!
Cos he LOOKS like a Philip, tho that’s a weird thing to say,
cos what dinosaur LOOKS like a Philip?! Nevermind we’ll see what Clem says!

And Clem replied, “I think we should call him… Philip.”

To which i jolted upright with wide eyes.

Did he just say Philip? Wait, did *i* say Philip?
But no! I said it in my head! I didn’t say it out loud!

“OH MY GOD! I just thought of Philip! AND YOU JUST SAID IT!”
“What? Noooo…”
“I’m SERIOUS! That is SO weird! I SWEAR ON FAIRIES!!!”
“Why fairies?!”
“Because i totally believe in them so swearing on them is, never mind, that’s not the point!”
“Haha ok i believe you!”

Isn’t that weird!
But so cool!
Cos i tried thinking back whether we spoke about anything to do with the name Philip which might have prompted it into our subconscious but nothing came up.
I even thought of whether it *might* have been the dino’s name from Toy Story
cos our new dino kinda looks like the one from Toy Story, but it’s not!

DarlingDhanya thinks we’re riding on each other’s brain wavelengths,
whereas others have said we just belong in the looney bin together -_-

Never the matter!

This is Philip, our new dinosaurย   :xlaughing:

I’ve been stuffing my face more than usual
the past two days.

I know i’m always stuffing my face (hence the nickname from Kubs)
but Tuesday was the ultimate possession of the Greed God or something.

I whacked Hong Kee porridge for breakfast,
4 heavenly kings vege dish extra pedas from Canteen,
char koay teow,
rice + chicken from Little Penang Cafe,
and quesadillas from Chilli’s (shared with Clem).
(the last 4 dishes in the span of 6 hours)

After that i lay in bed,
groaning cos my stomach hurt!
And Clem had to give me some pill for my greed overeating.

Ugh.
And just when i thought i’d learnt my lesson,
i whacked a massive dim sum lunch with Milcah at 3pm yesterday,
followed by La La Chong seafood dinner with the Freeformers.

Felt quite bloated today.

And angelically ordered salad in Alexis for lunch with AshleyTheMonkey.
I ordered the camembert salad (thinking it’d come with shavings of the cheese)
but it came with a huge slice of camembert instead!
So i went, “Guess i’m having a happy lunch after all! Luckily i ordered wine too!”
while Ash shook her head at me.

A couple of people asked whether i’m pregnant -_-
And i REALLY don’t think so -_-

I do hope, actually, that this munchy madness is temporary,
cos having to change dress sizes will not be cool at the end of the day :p

Also have been sitting myself down,
researching ‘where to go’ along with the ‘how’ and ‘cost’
for UK in June.

So far i was thinking i’ll be mostly in London,
but will take a plane to Copenhagen,
and then i can take the train to Amsterdam,
or the ferry to Sweden,

… and then i got stuck there.

So will continue my research tomorrow.

Heehee.

(if you have any suggestions on where to go and how, please let me know! i’m open to most places except – Spain, Italy, Portugal)

Of course Amsterdam is not-to-be-missed if you’ve never been there. I would say don’t spend too much time in London… Tho there’s lots of interesting things there too. Scotland in summer can be very nice.
