I Love TV

I try not to watch too much TV.
Some people say that the most depressed people are the ones who watch TV
and don’t end up getting out there and actually having a life.
Instead, they live others’ through TV.

I think TV is AWESOME in regulated doses.

When i travel, i love having FTV in the background in the hotel room
(especially when i’m traveling alone).
I prefer having some noise (ok so i’m a scaredy cat),
and FTV merges an eclectic range of recent music + runway shots
and models saying heavily-accented things i don’t (need to) understand.

Plus there is no plot to follow and you can glance up whenever a design interests you

I Love FTV!

Another show some people recommended me on Twitter is The Big Bang Theory.
It’s a comedy with jokes revolving around the universe and science.
Very geeky, but it’s brill!
At least their jokes make sense and you learn the most random pieces of info from watching it.

You can watch some episodes *here*
but you know how megavideo only allows you to watch 70 mins at a time unless you pay for a subscription.

Something else i just started having an interest in are…
food channels!

Seeing i just started cooking regularly,
not only has my appreciation for food escalated,
but my passion for preparing it
and learning from TV has as well!

I was writing about what i love watching,
to prepare you for a new type of TV that’s available to us!

Imagine having all your favourite channels being with you anywhere
as long as you have your laptop and an internet connection.

Say hello to Fine TV!

Once you register with Fine TV,
an Access Key Gadget is send to you within 7 working days.

Pop the Access Key Gadget into your USB port,
it auto-runs immediately

and wala,
you immediately have access to
42 Live TV channels
10 VOD channels
Netcom (for vid conferencing on TV) and
Helo Tune (interactive internet radio channels)

You can even watch the channels while surfing other things,
or on your television set by connecting an HDMI cable from your pc/laptop to TV.

It’s like having cable without having to install a satellite dish,
nor drill your walls (especially if you’re renting!)

You get movies and TV programmes
which you can watch as and WHEN you want.
There is no schedule.
So YOU pause, rewind, forward, whateverย   :xpleased:

I think this would be great for students or people who are renting
cos they can take their ‘TV’ wherever they go
without having to worry about costly installation fees.

Fine TV works on a reload basis
so you just top up the payment required as you’re using it.
Plus of course, all the bills can be paid online via their website.

And now the big question…
how much does it cost??

Right now Fine TV has various subscription fees,
and are asking people to recommend their fees preference.

Isn’t that crazy…
i feel like it’s another level of bargaining,
cos the consumer gets to bargain!

  1. Hmmm. so me, being in New York, could perhaps have a friend in Malaysia order FineTV on my behalf or clandestinely, since it works worldwide…
